Toy Bulldog Reading

The purpose of the O'Hara Park School Library is to ensure that all O'Hara Park School students have the opportunity to become effective and responsible users and creators of ideas and information so that they may become independent, lifelong learners.  In addition, to cultivate in all students a love of reading and literature, and to support the curriculum being taught in the classroom.

The library is available for independent student use before school and at lunch.  Library books are checked out for two weeks, and may be renewed for an additional two weeks.  If a book becomes three weeks overdue, it is considered lost, and a bill will be generated for the replacement cost of the book.  Students may also perform Community Service with the librarian to work off the debt.
